Ensure your HOA has approved a color change if applicable! ✅ What’s Included Light sanding and cleaning of one standard exterior front door and side lights. They are designed for exceptional durability, resistance to dirt, and fade protection, which is ideal for a high-traffic area like an exterior door. Important Note on One-Coat Coverage: While these paints offer a one-coat guarantee, Behr generally recommends two coats for optimal durability and long-term protection on all exterior surfaces, including doors, regardless of coverage. To maximize your chances of one-coat coverage, you must: Choose a color from the Behr One-Coat Color Collection. Recommended Finish (Sheen) Semi-Gloss Enamel or Hi-Gloss Enamel Reasoning for Finish: A higher sheen is the best choice for exterior doors. Semi-Gloss and Hi-Gloss are more durable: They create a hard, durable, non-stick surface that stands up well to frequent handling and wear and is easy to wash and clean. Time between coats of paint is 2 hours. Humidity must be below 80%.
