Most of our services are small, quick jobs that require time, preparation, and travel.
Upfront payment reserves your time slot, allows us to plan materials and routes, and prevents no-shows.
Your payment is always secure, and if you cancel within our policy window, you’ll receive a full refund.

⏰ Do you offer same-day service?

In most cases, same-day appointments aren’t available because our team is already scheduled with other clients.
For urgent needs, call or text 904-730-1152, and we’ll do our best to help if a gap opens.

🧾 What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

You may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment at no cost.
Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a $25 short-notice fee, and no-shows may be charged the minimum service fee.
This helps cover time, travel, and preparation already completed.

🧰 What if Small Jobs Squad needs to cancel?

If we ever need to cancel due to weather, illness, or an unexpected conflict, we’ll notify you immediately and offer to reschedule at your convenience.
If rescheduling isn’t possible, we’ll issue a full refund for any prepaid service.
We respect your time as much as our own and only cancel when absolutely necessary.

🏠 What if my home isn’t ready or the job is different than described?

When we arrive, we’ll confirm that the work area is accessible and safe.
If the home or workspace isn’t ready (for example, furniture not moved, area cluttered, or unsafe conditions), we may:

• Charge a $25 trip or standby fee, or

• Reschedule the appointment for a later date.

If the job is larger, more complex, or different than originally described, we’ll always discuss it with you before proceeding.
Additional work may require a revised quote or a follow-up visit to complete safely and correctly.

💵 Will extra fees ever be added after the fact?

We don’t surprise anyone with hidden charges.
Any additional fees—such as materials, parking, or extended time—will always be discussed and approved by you first.
You’ll know the total cost before any additional work begins.

🏗️ Do you handle large renovation or remodeling projects?

We specialize in small, manageable projects—the ones most contractors don’t have time for.
Our focus is quick, efficient, professional service.
For large-scale remodels or multi-day jobs, we’re happy to recommend trusted local contractors.

💬 Can I add extra tasks on the day of my appointment?

If time allows and materials are available, we’re happy to add small tasks during your visit.
If your new requests extend beyond the scheduled time, we’ll offer to schedule a separate follow-up visit to keep everyone on time.

🧾 Do you charge late or trip fees?

• A $25 trip fee may apply if we arrive and cannot begin work because the property isn’t accessible or ready.

• Late-payment fees may apply if final balances aren’t settled at completion.

• These policies ensure fairness and keep our schedule running smoothly for all customers.

📸 Will you photograph or share my project online?

Sometimes we take before-and-after photos to showcase our work.
We never share personal details like names or addresses.
If you prefer no photos of your project, just let us know—no problem.

🧑‍🔧 What should I do before my appointment?

Please make sure:

• The work area is clean and accessible.

• Someone 18 or older is present.

• Pets are safely secured.
  This helps us start promptly and finish efficiently.
